In partnership with Wolverhampton Safeguarding Children Board and Wolverhampton's B-Safe student e-safety team, the Learning Technologies Team have organised two half-day conferences for school professionals on Safer Internet Day, February 10th. The conference is aimed at Headteachers, eLearning Coordinators, Safeguarding Leads and Governors.

- A Keynote Presentation from renowned digital citizenship / eSafety speaker and expert Simon Finch (Northern Grid for Learning) entitled “Model, Embed and Engage”
- Other presentations / workshops - Wolverhampton Safeguarding Children Board, Inspecting eSafety, Keeping children safe on line, 360 Degree Safe accreditation
A morning conference will take place from 9:15am - 12:00pm, with an afternoon conference from 1:00pm - 3:45pm. Both sessions will take place at the Grand Station, Sun Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1AA. (See map). The event also coincides with a B-SAFE workshop for students.
There is no cost to attend this event.
In the evening, a briefing aimed at parents and carers will be also be held from 5:30pm until 8:00pm, where Simon Finch and Russell Prue (www.andertontiger.com) will lead presentations and discussions around the theme of "Keeping your child digitally safe". There is no cost to parents and carers for attending the evening session; please support us in highlighting this opportunity to parents in your school.
